Zombie Inspired Apocalypses Blog
This literally involves whatever you can get your hands on. Preferred items would be items high in protein and essential vitamins that are not perishable for long periods of time, such as canned goods or Military-Grade MRE’s. Luckily, I have a bunch of MRE packages down in my basement currently.
Here’s my recipe if you can get your hands on the ingredients:
1 can of pineapple
1 package of pistachio pudding
1 bag of marshmallows (Marshmallow creame can be substituted)
1 bag of preferred nuts
Mix all together and enjoy. This recipe has enough sugar to continue and can be held at reasonable temperatures. Cold is preferred, but when you’re constantly running, it is hard to refrigerate things.
Another recipe is a basic trail mix recipe.
1 large package of M&M’s
1 large can of peanuts
1 large can of almonds
Mix together and eat while running. This would provide enough protein until a more substantial meal would be found.
Advice: Never carry soda, always carry bottled water. If you have to obtain it from a river or lake, be sure to boil it if you have enough time to rest and catch your breath.
